Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CVBoost is operated by JK COM LLC, a company organized under the laws of the United States. Contact: support@cvfix.app.

2. The service

CVBoost uses AI to rewrite the text of a CV/resume you upload and render the result as downloadable PDF and Word files. The service is a one-time paid purchase at $19 USD.

3. Your responsibilities

• You own the content you upload, or you have permission to process it.
• Do not upload other people's CVs without consent.
• Do not use CVBoost to create fraudulent or misleading CVs. The AI fills in reasonable estimates when numbers are missing; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting anything inaccurate before sending to an employer.
• You are over 16 years old (EU) or 13 years old (US).

4. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. All prices shown are in USD. EU/UK customers: VAT is calculated and collected at checkout where applicable.

5. Refunds

Full refund within 7 days, no questions. See our Refund Policy.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK)

By starting checkout and downloading your CV, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal as permitted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. This does not affect your right to a refund under Section 5, which is independent and voluntary on our part.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all ownership of the input CV and of the output CV we generate for you. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the output for any purpose, including commercial job applications. We retain ownership of the CVBoost software, templates, and brand.

8. AI output disclosure

The output is generated by a third-party large language model (OpenAI GPT-4o). AI output can contain errors, fabrications, or outdated information. Always review your CV before submitting it to an employer. CVBoost does not warrant that the output will lead to an interview or a job offer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVBoost's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service ($19). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost job opportunities, lost wages, etc.).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law (in particular, mandatory EU consumer rights and the German BGB).

10. Privacy

We process your CV to provide the service and delete it after your session ends. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. For consumers resident in the EU, UK, or DACH region, your mandatory local consumer protection laws also apply in parallel. Disputes may be brought in US courts or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of your country of residence.
